AMKM- 2022 AAU Gymnastics National Championship Info
Good Morning!
Here are some details for the 2022 AAU Gymnastics National Championship being hosted in Springfield, IL this summer! Below you will find the information available on hotels, venue, fees & leotards.
If you would still like to add to attend Nationals, please lets us know before March 3rd.
Meet Location: Bank of Springfield Convention Center 1 Convention Center Plaza Springfield, IL 62701
Dates: June 28th- July 3rd, 2022 (your gymnast only competes on one day and session like normal)
Wisconsin District Leotard: At Nationals it is customary for individual teams attending to represent their home district! We will be ordering Wisconsin District leotards for AAU Nationals that will be worn for competition. We are working to finalize the leotard cost (approx. $50) and design now! This is required for all AMKM Gymnasts competing at Nationals & open to those not attending Nationals to order!
Nationals Apparel: We will again offer National apparel. An online store will be opened in May for these items!
Qualification: Participation in your State/ District AAU Championship Meet qualifies you to Nationals!
Spectators: There is no limit to spectators at this time.
Admission:
Daily Pass: $17 Adult $10 Child (age 5-12)
2 Day Pass: $27 Adult $17 Child (age 5-12)
3 Days or More Pass: $35 Adult $25 Child (5-12)
Covid Guidelines: Guidelines will be determined closer to the event.
Parking: Parking BOS Arena $7.00.
Schedule: The competition schedule will be sent out mid-May.
Hotels: Here is the list of hotels provided by AAU. This includes contact and pricing information, along with the AAU codes for booking! You are not required to stay at these hotels but they are a great cost saving option!
Fee & Deadline to AMKM Gymnastics:
June 28-July 3: AAU Nationals: Springfield Illinois AAU OPTIONAL
AAU Fees: All Levels: $300 Due: Mar 3rd
