AMKM Announcements 10/23- Team Reminders

Good Afternoon!

Below are a few reminders on routines, hair, team garments and pictures! 

The first meet fee is due Nov 1^st so please make sure you are aware of the amount being charged to your account.  Available fees and due dates are listed below.

Team Q&A Meeting: Are you interested in a team meeting for Q&A?  If so, please email us back and let us know.  We will host an in-person/ zoom option meeting if there is interest.

Practice Hair: Please ensure your gymnast is arriving to class with their hair done in a bun and neatly pulled back away from their face and neck.

Competition Garments: Team garment orders are not in yet.  As soon as they arrive, we will let you know.

Team Pictures: A date for Team pictures will be communicated once competition leotards are in.

Routines: Below is the link to routines.  You are welcome to help your gymnast work on routines outside of class times.  We encourage you to only work on the choreography parts and not the actual skills.  Right and left is not specific in the sample routines, so your gymnast should use their correct leg for themself vs what the video shows.  We are not going to take additional questions on the videos and routines will continue to be taught in class.

Meet Schedule: Below you will find the 2027 Meet Schedule!  Available meets fees and due dates are listed below.  The rest will be updated as we receive them.  Please make note of fees and due dates.  Online accounts will be charged on the due dates.

Reminders for meets:

               AMKM will register all team members for each meet & AAU membership. 

Meet schedules are available approximately 2 weeks prior to the meet.  We will email out session times and details as soon as we have them.

Your gymnast will only compete in 1 session on 1 day for each meet. (sessions last approximately 3-5 hours)

Competition leotards, jackets, team bags, scrunchies and your choice of black bottoms will be worn to meets.

Undergarments worn with the leotard should be no show and skin colored. 

Hair should be worn in a neat, high bun with team scrunchie.

AAU Fees: All Levels & Xcel: $160  Due: Feb 1^st

Apr 24-25, 2027: AAU State Meet Onalaska, WI: AAU Required
