Below you will find 2021-2022 Team Information including Team Contracts, Meet Schedule, Meet Sign-Ups, Parent Meeting & Tentative Level Placements!
Bangor Fun Daze Performance: Sign-Up for Summer Performances today! We highly encourage everyone to attend these events!! They are both FREE events, so there is no cost to participate! AMKM Gymnastics will be performing at Bangor Fun Daze in Bangor, WI on Saturday, August 14th at 4pm. This is held in the main shelter near the ball field at the Bangor Park. This is open and encouraged for all AMKM Members! We ask gymnasts wear any AMKM, pink or black leotards with black shorts and white shoes. Hair needs to be up in a high bun or high ponytail with scrunchies or anything sparkly! This is a fun event for the girls to participate in outside of the gym! The gymnasts will do some basic tumbling, beam and bar work to show off and have fun! Please let us know if your gymnast will be attending!

Team Camp Reminders:
Camp runs Monday, August 2nd through Friday, August 6th from 9am to 3pm daily.
Typical daily schedule:
9am to 11am: Event Rotations
11am to 12pm: Dance
12pm to 1pm: Lunch
1pm to 1:30pm: Games
1:30pm to 3pm: Event Rotations
Friday End of Camp Showcase: Friday at 2:20pm is our End of Camp Open Work followed by the Team Dance. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to join us for this!
What to bring:
Lunch (If it needs to be kept cold, please use a thermal lunch box with ice packs. We do have microwaves available to heat food if needed.)
Water Bottle (There is no water fountain, so please be sure to bring your own water bottle.)
Extra Snacks (Feel free to send with extra snacks your gymnast may want during the day.)
Extra Hair Items (ponytail holders, hairspray, brush)
Extra Leotard
Grips/ Tiger Paws/ Any Braces your gymnast uses
Tennis Shoes & Socks
Black Shorts on Thursday for Camp Shirt Pictures

Thursday: Crazy Sock Day ***This is also picture day with Camp Tanks- please bring with black shorts!
Friday: AMKM Day
Camp Shirts: Camp Shirts will be handed out on Thursday to all gymnasts before pictures!
Regular Evening Classes: Regular evening classes run as normal next week. **Farm gymnasts: you are welcome to stay and hang out between 3pm and 4pm!
AMKM Apparel: AMKM Apparel orders will be coming out soon! Look out for order forms for regular apparel items, leotards & backpacks!
2021-22 School Year Session Schedule & Enrollment: All class registration- The Avenue & The Farm is now done ONLINE! Please register for classes by August 30th! Our 2021-22 School Year Session Schedule and these can be found online at amkmgymnastics.com - The Avenue and The Farm! All enrollment can be done online through your account for both locations. Our School Year Session begins August 30, 2021 but we encourage you to register now so you get the class time(s) you prefer as some classes fill quickly! Password for team classes is TEAM.
Annual Membership Fee: Your annual membership fee is due with your School Year Session registration! $50 per member.
NEW- Xcel Team Program at AMKM: We are excited to announce we will be offering an Xcel Team option starting with the 2021-2022 Season!
Xcel Program Overview- The Xcel Program is an alternative competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of Xcel is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience. In short, Xcel offers an optional routine & skill alternative to the traditional compulsory levels of gymnastics! Our Xcel Team at AMKM will compete starting at Xcel Gold or above. Just like traditional compulsory, Xcel offers different skill level groups- Xcel Bronze, Xcel Silver, Xcel Gold, Xcel Platinum & Xcel Diamond.
Requirements:
Must turn 11 years old by the start of AAU Nationals (June 28th, 2022)
Have the skill ability to meet Xcel Gold or above requirements.
Meet 2 classes per week practice requirements.
Mandatory Team Parent Meeting: Our annual Mandatory Team Parent Meeting will be on Sunday, September 12th at 6pm held at The Avenue. It is required for at least 1 parent of each Team member to attend this meeting. We will review Team expectations, policies, schedules & answer any questions you have!
Tentative 2021-2022 Level Placements: Here is the link for the Tentative Team Level Placements! Final Team Level Placements will be determined and sent out on August 20th. The below link is where each gymnast would be placed today. If you have questions about placements or potential changes, please let us know!

Team Contracts: Here are the links for the 2021-2022 Team Contracts! These are to be returned no later than September 1st via email only. All gymnasts are on the AAU Team. USA Team members are the only ones who need the USA Team Contract.
