2021-22 Class Protocol: Class Protocol: As we kick off the new session, due to raising transmission rates of COVID and in following the recommendation of local health officials, we are once again asking that our gymnasts (and guardians) plan to wear a properly fitting mask for practice and spectating for those 2 and older, regardless of vaccination status.
In addition to masks, other key steps we are taking at the gym to keep everyone safe include requiring anyone who is ill or exhibiting symptoms to stay home, requiring frequent hand cleansing and good hygiene practices, wearing face coverings, engaging in enhanced cleaning efforts at the facility, and class and facility adaptations to encourage social distancing and limited contact. Mitigation strategies are especially important as we once again are seeing a rise in cases in our region, so we ask the following:
Only bring one spectator to class. During this time, we ask that children not enrolled in a class not be in the spectator area.
Anyone entering the facility and all gymnasts must wear a face covering.
Any gymnast exhibiting signs of illness is not permitted at practice, and we ask that anyone showing signs of illness not enter the facility.
To limit capacity in the building, we ask that gymnasts come prepared and dressed for class.
Please do not enter more than five minutes prior to class to help avoid congestion in the spectator area.
These efforts were successful last year at helping us prevent COVID transmissions at the gym. As cases are rising and many of our students are returning to in-person school, we feel it is important to return to these policies. As our COVID guidelines have stated from the beginning, we adjust our COVID mitigation strategies to meet our community standards and will monitor and adjust as needed throughout the session. Our number one priority is making sure we are doing our part to keep our gymnasts, families, and community safe while doing gymnastics. We appreciate our gym families in helping us to make this possible. You will find a complete 2021-22 Class Protocol below. End of Summer Bash - Make Up Date

Summer Session Make Up Session (Avenue & Farm Gymnasts)
Friday, September 3, 2021 (at the Avenue)
Class One: 4:00pm-5:30pm
Class Two: 5:30pm-7:00pm

While we generally do not offer make-ups, due to our early closure last week, we are offering a make-up night on Friday, September 3rd for gymnasts from both the Avenue & the Farm. Make-up sessions are limited to 20 students for each time slot and are first come, first serve. We are opening these makeups for students who missed their final class last week or who have had to miss class throughout the summer due to COVID/illness. We appreciate all of our families so these makeups are complimentary and we encourage everyone who has missed a class to take advantage of this option!

Team Information:
We wanted to send a reminder to sign up for classes! Our School Year Session begins August 30th at The Avenue & The Farm! You must be registered for classes online prior to your first night of class in order to attend! While registering for classes, please work on getting your Team Contract and Meet Sign Up Sheets completed and turned in!
Team Class Requirements begin August 30th. Register for your level online at www.amkmgymnastics.com for the School Year Session! Password is TEAM.
Mandatory Team Parent Meeting: Our annual Mandatory Team Parent Meeting will be on Sunday, September 12th at 6pm held at The Avenue. It is required for at least 1 parent of each Team member to attend this meeting. We will review Team expectations, policies, schedules & answer any questions you have!

Optional & Xcel Floor Routines/ Music: Xcel & Optional (Level 6 & up) gymnasts all need to select floor music. Music can be found online on YouTube, floor music express, etc. Music is first come, first serve, so if you have songs selected (max 3 choices) please let your coaches know! Songs do need to be approved by coaches. Floor routine choreography is free every 2 seasons for Team gymnasts. If you wish to have a new routine yearly, a $300 choreography fee is charged. We teach optional/ xcel floor routines during private lessons only. Lessons are $50/ hour. We typically only need 1 lesson to teach the floor routine. Please take a look at your schedule and reach out to schedule your time! We would like all floor music confirmed no later than Sept 1st!
Team Contracts: Here are the links for the 2021-2022 Team Contracts! These are to be returned no later than September 1st via email only. All gymnasts are on the AAU Team. USA Team members are the only ones who need the USA Team Contract.

Meet Sign Ups: Below you will find the full meet schedule & the links for the Meet Sign Up Sheets! These are to be returned no later than September 1st via email only. Each meet must be marked Yes or No. Required vs Optional Meets are noted and any fees & due dates we have are on the sheets. We will continue to update the schedule/ fees/ due dates as the information becomes available!
